Knowledge withheld instead of shared. Critical information locked behind expensive courses, exclusive communities, or industry jargon designed to keep newcomers out rather than welcome them in.
Unrealistic Standards
“Entry level” roles that want years of experience. The endless paradox of needing experience to get experience — I’ve been there, and it’s genuinely frustrating.
Nobody to Ask
Finding someone willing to guide your journey is harder than it sounds. That’s a big part of why I started writing — I wanted to be the person I wish I’d had when I was starting out.
